The blanks-collecting unit is designed to handle produced blanks from the blanking line, incorporating several key features. It includes a vision control system for quality checks on the produced blanks. A laser unit is integrated to apply serial numbers, QR codes, data matrix codes, and barcodes on the passing blanks. There’s also a reject collection tray for fallen blanks. Completing the setup is a stacker equipped with a buffer belt, ensuring efficient handling of finished blanks.

The Crest Automatic Stacker with Vision and Laser is the blank-collecting unit at the end of the blanking line. It inspects every produced blank with a vision system, applies a laser mark and stacks the approved blanks, combining quality control, traceability and collection in one automated station.
How the stacker works
Blanks arriving from the blanking line pass the vision camera, which checks each blank against the specification. Approved blanks receive their laser mark and are stacked neatly for the next production step. Deviations are detected immediately, before they can travel further through production.
