Processes

At Crest we distinguish four kinds of processes for our lamination machinery. It describes the shape of material and the way of input and output.

The processes we distinguish at Crest are:

  • Roll to roll
  • Roll to sheet
  • Sheet to roll
  • Sheet to sheet

The Crest industrial laminators can process all or one of the process types. Some process types are specifically for certain materials because they need to be flexible. The roll to roll process for example is only for flexible material such as textile and foam. The sheet to sheet process on the other hand is for almost every material – hard or soft – including glass as well.

Roll to roll

These machines are designed for roll to roll processes. This type of lamination process is about converting flexible materials supplied on a roll and whereby the end result will be on a roll as well.

Roll to sheet

These machines are designed for roll to sheet processes. This type of lamination process is about converting flexible and mostly thin material on roll into sheets after laminating.

Sheet to roll

These machines are designed for sheet to roll processes. This type of lamination process is about converting materials from sheets into rolls.

Sheet to sheet

These machines are designed for sheet to sheet processes. This type of lamination process is about converting materials from sheets and whereby the end result is on a sheet as well.
