A Universal Heating Unit specifically designed to preheat the aluminum web prior to entering the laminating unit, enhancing adhesion properties. It can also be used to preheat the laminated web before it enters the press, helping to prevent foil cracking during edge embossing.

The Crest Heating Unit is a universal inline heating station that preheats the aluminium web before lamination. Reflective film bonds best at the right temperature: by warming the web just before the laminating station, the Heating Unit ensures optimal, consistent adhesion across the full width of the material.
How the Heating Unit fits into your line
The unit is positioned in the license plate production line directly before the laminating station. It heats the moving aluminium web to the required temperature at line speed, so lamination quality does not depend on ambient conditions or material temperature variations.
