What is the Crest MLC-1600 4-roll laminator used for?

The Modular Laminator Crest MLC-1600 is designed for high-quality adhesive coating, panel mounting, laminating and encapsulation of images up to 1575 mm wide. The 4-roll configuration adds a second roller set for pulling and finishing the laminate.

What is the condition of this machine?

This is a used, second-hand machine, offered as is. It is located in our production hall in Raalte. Ask us for its current condition and configuration before purchase.

What does the 4-roll configuration add?

A 4-roll MLC has four pressure rollers, three unwind/wind-up positions with 3+3 auto grip shafts and a swinging feed-out table. That makes it suitable for roll-to-roll work as well as mounting on panels.

What are the key specifications?

A working width up to 1575 mm, line pressure up to 2.5 N/mm with digital read-out, roller speed up to 8 m/min, a roller nip opening up to 35 mm and substrate thickness up to 30 mm. The 2 front rollers are heated, up to 135 °C.

Can the machine be upgraded?

The MLC is a Crest design with a modular concept. This machine already has 2 heated front rollers. Further options such as slitting, ionisation at the feed-in table and wrinkle control were part of the MLC programme. Ask us which options can be fitted to this machine.

What is the price?

The price is on request. Transport and installation are quoted separately. Changes to equipment or specifications will affect the price.

Does Crest arrange transport and installation?

Transport and installation are not included in the price. Crest can arrange both and provides a quotation based on your location.
