Written by the engineers who build the machines, for the people who run them.
Six times a year, one short note on something we learned in the workshop. How a lamination window narrows as you go faster. Why a substrate behaves differently in winter. What a worn nip roll does to your edges.
For process engineers, production managers and converters. Never a product pitch.

Insight #1. The film gets blamed first: seven lamination defects that start in the machine, not the material.
Silvering, air entrapment, tunneling, wrinkles, adhesive bleeding, curl and telescoping all trace back to nip pressure, web tension, roller alignment or winding settings. A defect that responds to a machine setting is not a film fault.

You confirm, not us. After you send the form you get one email with a confirmation link. Nothing else is sent until you click it, and if you never click, you never hear from us again.
Where we got your address. If we approached you first, we found your name and work email in your public professional profile or on your company website, in the context of lamination, converting or coating. You can ask us at any time what we hold about you and have it deleted, by replying to any of our emails or writing to info@crest.nl.
